myfriendroze ceramics
Hey there, I'm Roze, the hands and brain behind myfriendroze. I mainly create planters, vases, watering bells, and various other ceramic objects designed to keep your green roommates alive (or at least make their, and your, home look good).
My journey into clay was completely planned and not at all a panic response to the universe. When COVID arrived, it aggressively "ended" my career in the music industry. I realized that business was a little too dirty for me anyway, so I decided to trade it in for actual, literal dirt, and I started collecting (hoarding) and grudgingly selling succulents and cacti.
Upon realizing they needed better homes, I decided to dust off my art degree. Despite having a fine arts degree, I'd never actually thrown on the wheel before. I, however, still assumed that a background in sculpture meant it would be easy. Turns out it wasn't, I had to start completely from square one.
The hoarding plant phase evolved into "collecting" and making planters, and soon expanded into making vases, watering bells, and an array of other ceramic art pieces.
Today, myfriendroze has become the official marriage of those two worlds (and the divorce from the music industry). Every single piece is created by hand in my studio, and no two are exactly alike. I hope you enjoy them.
Now, when you make a purchase, you can officially say myfriendroze made it!
